Boat Snorkeling Tour Flow
Arrive at Hau’oli Beach House 30 minutes before departure.
Fill out the application form and get fitted for your snorkeling gear.
Our staff will select the best snorkeling spots based on the day’s ocean conditions.
The boat ride takes about 10–15 minutes, making it a comfortable trip even for those prone to seasickness.
Enjoy the breathtaking Kerama Blue ocean views from the boat.
Bringing a phone is recommended for capturing great photos.
If you’re new to snorkeling or not a strong swimmer, don’t worry.
Our guide will assist you with a floating ring and ensure you feel comfortable in the water.
As soon as you enter the water, you’ll be surrounded by colorful tropical fish.
Observe vibrant fish and coral reefs up close.
Many participants ask, “Can we see sea turtles?”
While sightings aren’t guaranteed since they are wild creatures, the chances are very high.
On lucky days, you may have a close encounter with a turtle swimming nearby.

- I can’t swim well. Can I still join?

Yes! You will wear a life jacket and can hold onto a floating board while our guide assists you. Even if you are not confident in swimming, you can safely enjoy snorkeling.
- How much time will we spend in the water?

The tour includes two snorkeling spots, and you will spend a total of 60 minutes in the water.
- Where are the snorkeling spots?

There are many snorkeling spots around Tokashiki Island.
The snorkeling location for the day is carefully selected just before departure, based on wind direction and wave conditions. - Can I try freediving (skin diving)?

Freediving is allowed only if the instructor approves after assessing your safety in the water. If necessary, the guide will provide training before allowing you to dive underwater.
- Do you have prescription snorkeling masks?

Yes! We have prescription masks available, but selection depends on your eyesight. If we have a mask that matches your vision, you are welcome to use it.
- Do you rent underwater cameras?

No, we do not offer camera rentals. However, our staff will take GoPro photos during the tour.
There is no limit to the number of pictures we take, so feel free to request more.
- Can I bring my phone?

Yes! You can bring your phone and leave it safely on the boat or use a waterproof case, which is available for purchase.
Please note that you are responsible for your personal belongings.
- Can non-swimming family members join the boat?

Yes, observers can join for ¥2,000 per person. However, please note:
- During peak seasons, space may be limited, and we may not be able to accommodate observers.
- If the ocean conditions are rough, we may deny observer requests due to safety concerns.
- How long is the boat ride to the snorkeling spots?

The average boat ride takes about 15 minutes.
If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking motion sickness medication at least one hour before departure.

这次和朋友两人一起体验了海之家的乘船浮潜，从上岛开始全流程沟通非常流畅，基本都有会中文的工作人员安排行程所以非常省心。我和朋友两人都是第一次浮潜，一开始有点紧张，但是教练很耐心的带着我们，所以很快就享受在浮潜里了！教练帮我们拍照，还拿了海参来给我们触摸体验，这次很幸运还看到了海龟！总而言之是非常愉快的体验，很棒
Excellent Experience
You must join snorkelling tour if you come to Tokashiki island. The carol reefs are beautiful and you can probably see sea turtles!
The coaches are very nice and helpful! The changing room and shower room are clean and tidy. There are lockers, equipments and lunch provided.
